Farmers Markets

I love this time of year.....The farmers markets have begun to sprout up in and around Vancouver. There is something spiritual about these markets. Meeting and greeting new friends, sampling fresh produce, smelling the aromas of the freshly baked foods and the beautiful flowers recently picked from the heavenly gardens.
Farmers Markets are a great place to visit. A great learning environment for children in regards to planting and farming fresh to the table foods. The lessons learned will create a habit.......Buy locally, grown organically, say no to GM foods etc.
There is an excitement and a buzz around markets.........If you haven't experienced what I am sharing I strongly urge you to take a stroll to the nearest Farmers Market and share the joys offered to you. Here is a list of markets in the Vancouver area. ENJOY~

We organize 4 summer Farmers Markets
East Vancouver (Trout Lake) - Saturdays, 9am - 2pm
North Parking Lot of Trout Lake Park
West End - Saturdays, 9am - 2pm
1100 Block of Comox Street
Main Street Station - Wednesdays, 3pm - 7pm
Main Street Skytrain Station at Terminal Ave
Kitsilano - Sundays, 10am - 2pm
10th Avenue & Larch Street
